What makes your packaging eco-friendly?
We have innovated traditional hair care to offer products in packaging that avoids using plastic. We are proud to say we use recycled materials whenever possible, and made of materials that are commonly accepted in recycling programs around the world. We always choose the most lightweight materials possible in order to minimize carbon emissions in shipping. We do not use send-back programs as they emit additional carbon with the return shipping, or industrial composting as this is not available in many places. We currently use tin-coated steel and aluminum as they are two of the most commonly accepted recyclable materials, they are infinitely recyclable. If these materials do end up in landfill they take only 50 years to break down in contrast to plastic’s 600 years, and glass’s 1,000,000 years. Our paper packaging elements are made from 100%pcw, are FSC certified, and can be recycled, and home-composted if indicated. We are committed to offering the most low-impact products possible and will remain open to improving our packaging as innovation becomes more available.
Do you use bioplastics?
We do not use bioplastics. We have seen that most bioplastics and compostable plastics are more problematic than they seem. They can be difficult to dispose of after use and can end up contaminating plastic recycling or end up in landfill as they require industrial composting to break down, which is not commonly accessible around the world. We want our packaging to be as easy to deal with after use as possible. We have chosen to work around the need for plastic and focus on paper pulp products, aluminum, and tin. We are open to new innovative materials as they become available.
Do you do refills?
They are coming! We are in the process of testing plastic-free materials for refill packaging and will be offering refills in the future. We will let you know as soon as refills are available through our newsletter and on social.
Are you Carbon Neutral?
Yes, we are proud to support efforts to offset our carbon production for our packaging and product production, we also offer carbon-neutral shipping through Shopify Planet.
How do I recycle my packaging?
To recycle your empty products, please clean out any remaining product that is left inside the container and place your items in your curbside recycling bin, or take them to your nearest recycling center/collection service. The tin-coated steel, aluminum, and paper we use are the most common materials for recycling and will be accepted by the majority of programs.
How do Blu&Green subscriptions work?
Our subscriptions offer increased convenience and price in replenishing your products, on your schedule. When subscribing we will ensure your products are automatically shipped to you at your selected frequency, which can be adjusted at any time. All monthly subscriptions save 10% off for the first 5 months then 15% off all following renewals. All bi-monthly subscriptions save 5% for the first 5 months then 10% off all following renewals.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes, you can cancel at any time as long as a product has not already been shipped out, you will stop receiving that product.
Can I pause my subscription?
Yes, you can pause your subscription at any time by logging into your account, clicking on the subscription, and below the payment method you will see a button “pause my subscription”.
Can I change the frequency of my subscription?
Yes, you can update your delivery preferences at any time by clicking on the magic link that is sent with the purchase confirmation email, or by logging into your account, selecting Manage Subscription, making your changes, and selecting Save.
How far in advance do I need to make adjustments to my account for frequency or cancelation changes?
Please send change requests for your subscription at least 48 hours before the next shipment date.
Can I purchase a subscription as a gift?
Yes, you can set up a subscription to any name and address and you will be billed for each order processed. And you can cancel this as you desire.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, ShopPay, ApplePay, GooglePay, Paypal, and Klarna. At this time, we do not accept multiple forms of payment on a single order.
How do I buy a gift card?
To purchase a gift card, add the item(s) to your shopping bag. Add the recipient’s name in the “To” field and the sender’s name in the “From” field. You may also enter the recipient’s email address into the recipient email field and the gift card will be emailed directly to the recipient. Please note, Klarna cannot be used to purchase a gift card or on orders containing gift cards.
Can I modify or cancel my gift card order once it has been placed?
Unfortunately, we are not able to modify your gift card order after it has been placed. If you need to cancel an existing gift card order, please contact hello@bluandgreen.com as soon as possible for assistance.
How do I redeem a gift card?
To redeem a gift card, enter the gift-card code in the check-out process in the text field labeled “Gift Card or Discount Code”.
How do I use a promo code?
To use a promotional code, enter the code in your shopping cart at checkout. If your code is entered correctly, the amount or the contents of the Shopping Cart will be recalculated according to the promotion applied.
Can I use multiple promo codes at a time?
Promotion codes are limited to one code per order. They generally can be redeemed only once per customer. All promotion codes are available for a limited time and cannot be used once expired. Promotions are not redeemable for cash. Blu & Green reserves the right to change or cancel offers and promotion codes at any time. Please note that misuse of promotions and codes may result in order cancellation.
Can I cancel my order once it has been placed?
Before you make an order please confirm all information is correct. We are not able to make changes to an order once it is in the process to be shipped. If you need to make a change or cancel an existing order, please contact us as quickly as possible at hello@bluandgreen.com for assistance.
Can I exchange a product?
If a product is unopened, we are happy to exchange it for another Blu&Green product of equal value.
The product I want is out of stock. What can I do?
We strive to keep our products available and notify our community about restocks, new products, and promotions through our email newsletter. Out-of-stock products will have the option to get notified when the product is back in stock, or you can pre-order and receive it as soon as it is ready.
Can I purchase Blu & Green products on Amazon?
Blu & Green products are not available on Amazon yet.
What is your return policy?
We want you to love your Blu&Green purchase. If you are not totally satisfied, please email hello@bluandgreen.com within 30 days of purchase and we can discuss it. Our warehouse does not accept returns, so we cannot ensure a refund unless you have contacted us before returning the items, the return authorization, and the correct return address. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
All items purchased directly from bluandgreen.com may be accepted for a return. If you purchased a Blu & Green product from one of our authorized retailers, please contact them for assistance.
Can I return a gift?
If you would like to return a gift, please contact us at hello@bluandgreen.com.
Do you mail samples?
We do not offer samples through our website, although travel sizes for our Daily Shampoo and Daily Conditioner are coming. You can sign up to our newsletter to be notified or pre-order them from the listing on the products collection page.
Do I have to pay return shipping fees?
All shipping fees are non-refundable. You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs when returning your items. For larger returns we recommend using a shipping service that offers tracking or insurance as if a returned item is lost in the shipment back, we cannot issue a refund.
What if my order never arrived?
If your order has been marked as delivered but you can’t find it please contact us at hello@bluandgreen.com and we would be happy to help.
What if my products arrived damaged?
If your product has arrived damaged during transit, save the box and merchandise and notify us immediately. Please photograph the box and product inside and send them to us at hello@bluandgreen.com immediately with ‘damaged product’ and your order number in the subject line. We will review it and get back to you.
Where does Blu & Green ship?
We currently ship within the United States and will notify you through our newsletter and on social as soon as we begin shipping internationally.
Do you offer professional discounts?
No, currently we are not offering professional discounts, but please sign up for our newsletter to be notified when professional accounts may be set up.
How can I reach Blu&Green?

What shipping options do you offer?
We offer complimentary ground shipping on orders over $75.
Where do you ship?
We ship internationally.
Once I have placed my order can I change the delivery address?
If you have made an error entering your shipping address or need to make a change, please contact us at hello@bluandgreen.com as soon as possible, and we will make every effort to adjust your order.
Can I track my order?
You can track your order by clicking the link in your order confirmation email or searching the tracking number provided. If you have any issues with tracking your order please email hello@bluandgreen.com with your order number and we can help.
What happens if there is a problem with shipping?
If a package is undeliverable the order will be canceled and refunded once we have received the product back.
Do you have a store?
